It appears you need the harness from the backlight controller to the port on the cabinet IO card

We really can't see the harnesses that are in the machine. Can you post better pictures?

With the power turned off .. plug in the 6 pin connector (4 wires) in the top left of your first picture. That is the power to the controller.

Unplug the printer harness from the backlight controller (yellow). Plug in the power connector (green). Plug in the 14 pin connector from the reel harness (orange).
Quality doesn't cost. It pays.

It plugs into the harness that you had connected to the backlight controller. Be sure your machine is turned off before connecting it.

What do you have plugged in here (yellow)? Maybe I'm mistaken but it doesn't look like the reel harness. What happened to the harness that goes from the cabinet I/O to the controller (orange)? It was present in your earlier pics.

I don't know who is doing what here. Some posts are by 535bibjeep. Some by fordf1502003. Are we all working on the same machine here? The 14 pin connector from the reel harness goes there. If there is not one you may not have the correct reel harness. The printer harness in the cabinet goes to the printer harness on the printer itself and in no way, shape or form ever connects to the backlight controller.
