Yes i tried to go to settings but I didn’t find the led option, do I have to key it first?

I tired with key chip 031 and I didn’t find any option about multi denom led, do I have to use the clear chip 224 also ? Hope not since I also have installed the Tito deluxe and I did spend some time installing it..

I don’t have an extra seven segment 6-6-3 display board ( 75128301 ) to test if the problem is there, so I'm thinking of buying one extra, but are there several different 6-6-3 boards that looks the same or what shall I look for ?

I thought the denom light box settings would be under keychip configuration II? 
If you are a contributing NLG member, go look in the File System here on NLG and look for a sheet on the S2000 settings.

7.1.1.4 is where you assign touch panel settings.  Just need to key chip first with no credits on machine.

Everything works except the multi denom light


I did key the machine and went through the whole key chip config 1 and 2 without finding anything tha has to do with the denom led light

Are you saying when playing the machine you can select any of your denominations configured to the touch panel?

Yes the multi denom touchpad are working perfectlywhile playing but there’s no light and I can’t figure out what’s wrong ?

I’m far from an expert with these touch pads for the multi denom, but could it be a bad IO board causing the lights not to work or chase? What board controls these led lights to work? I know the one I have flashes through each denom choice every 5-10 seconds.

I'd hazard a guess that it's a bad ground wire in the mini harness going to the LEDs?
Did you check it with a multimeter for continuity?
How about the right side of the LEDs?
Are any burnt?Check those with a multimeter as well.

I have tried two denom light board and two set of harnes so I don’t think the problem is there..


Maybe it’s the 6-6-3 seven segments board that is connected to multi denom and as you say it gives
a kind of puls, so if I knew how to use a multimeter and where to use it so I could exclude things


I can’t see any burned places and I have checked both the denom led board and the seven segment 6-6-3 board over and over, they both look very good..

I've never seen any setting that controls the lights on the denom box.  When the game is not setup as multi-denom, all the leds light up without me having to do anything, ever.  The lightbox then behaves differently when multi-denom is setup.  So somewhere where the lightbox gets power is the problem.  It can only be an I/O card, or the 663 assembly where the leds connect if you already know the led board is good.  The 663 display assemblies are cheap enough to try a known working one, sometimes that is the faster route rather than trying to figure out other things.

Yes i agree about trying another 663 board and check if the board is the problem and smart to have as a backup anyway..

Yes...Keychip it then put back in the original base chip after you see the two amber LEDs light up.
Turn on the machine and wait for it to boot up into the Keychip [1 Accounting] menu.
Press the Cash Out button 6 times to get to the [7 Key Chip Config] if you're not already there.
Press the Spin button 3 times to get to 7.1.1.1 Accounting Denomination.
Press the Cash Out button 2 times to get to 7.1.1.3 Player Denomination.
Press the Spin button twice to get to 7.1.1.4 Denomination Touchpanel.
Press the Spin button to enter and you can see the four choices you have with the Touchpanel lights beginning with Player Denom 1.
