SAVP no game enabled

Hello,


Have a fun one today.  Fire up the slots, and an SAVP boots to a hard meter storage memory error.  Do the usual cabinet and safe storage clears.  Went all through set up with no problem.  It does not want to enable a game.  I select the game, set the percentage, all the usual crap.  When hitting enable selected game, it acts like it took the command, but no game is ever enabled.  I have been through setting up games many times, never got hung up like this.  Any ideas?  I must be missing something stupid?

Did you select the denom as well?

Yes, set the denom as usual.  It just keeps saying no game enabled. It will hang on to selected denom.  the game name will not turn green when you select it when you touch "enable selected game".  I have setup dozens of times in the past.  Never seen this problem.  Maybe I should wipe everything, including the hard drive this time?

I assume you have eKey7 plugged in when you start the machine?

MORE INFO: Yes, the machine is E keyed 7.  Figured out something just now, should hopefully narrow the mystery.  Anyway, if the player denom is selected as penny, it will enable and work fine!  However, this is a Blaze Of Glory 5 line game, denom has always been 1.00 and 5.00.  Selecting ANY denom that is not a penny, it will not enable the game. 


There must be one setting that I need to adjust after the clear? just want to enable at 1.00 play, not 1 cent.

You can add player denoms without clearing anything, at least on a AVP.

Yes indeed, it says on the screen that up to four denoms can be chosen.  However, only the 1 cent denom will enable the game.  Having denom set at 1.00 and it will NOT enable the game.  Set it to a penny, works fine.  The denom before I cleared it was 1.00 and 5.00 selectable.  Never had this issue where only one denom is valid during setup.

I have noticed on avp that not all games will let you set to just any enabled player denoms.

Yes, I have seen that as aell in the past.  Certain games are only available for play at certain denoms.  Not the case with this one, Blaze Of Glory 5 line 3 reel.  It has always been 1.00 and 5.00 player selectable denom.  Now, every denom is red on the set up/enable page except 1 cent.  Select 1 cent, game enables and plays fine, just with only a 5 cent bet, LOL.

Problem solved!  I screwed up and did not adjust the "denoms available to player" setting.  All is well now!  Thanks for all the help

On a AVP:
setup/cash handling/devices/denoms available to player
