Game King 8.3r with Ultimate X Poker.

Has anyone added Ultimate X poker with GK 8.3r?  I have 8.3r and the install for Ultimate X.  I was just wondering if there is anything I should know before I try adding it?

Shouldn't be a problem. They are both 001 video games.

I tried adding and it said "failed to activate".  The other 2 games I installed installed no problem.

I have 8.3r with all star poker. While as noted they are compatible, game king makes it own theme and then other games get dumped into there. 10 play and 3 play and all that go in with the rest of the pokers. I haven't been able to find any ways to fix this easily. Also the memory is near 100% full.


It would not be possible to get ultimate x, 10 play, and game king. Too big. Also I had to install it using the boot method, it will not work from the OS.

Are you using the correct OS for the 8.3R?  You must install the 8.3R before you install other games. I have found it is best to do the following in this  order---You must clear the HD using diagnostics, setup the slot without installing the 8.3, and then reboot the machine, install 8.3 from boot and then install other software from Menu prompts.  By the way, I have never heard of 8.3r with Ultimate X bundled together???
