S2000 Adding coin capability
« on: November 26, 2021, 07:42:14 AM »
Good Morning to All. I have a RED HOT 7’s S2000 machine that I’m going to add coin capability. My question is, Do I need to do anything special after I install hopper, coin mech, etc? After reading several posts, it doesn’t appear that I need to do anything else, but reprogramming. If there’s anything else that I need to do, I would appreciate any assistance/suggestions. THANK YOU ALL.

I added coin capability to 2 S2000's recently. Short answer was no, after adding the hardware, all I did was change settings. Longer answer is that I didn't have any other machines to compare these to so wasn't always sure what went where and how to install it. If you have questions, post them, it's not difficult, but easier if you have example pics or machines to see how it goes.

Ok, Thank You for responding so fast. I have a Coin version right next to it and it only took about an hour to install coin mech and acceptor. Do You remember if You had to KEY CHIP your machine or just use the menu by pushing the little white button?l

From what I can remember, I think I was able to make all the changes without key chipping.

You will have to key the machine to change it to "coinless mode disabled " 7.2.5
