System error after clear with a 1270 board

I cleared my machine with a 224 clear chip, it cleared with the 2 yellow lights coming on one right after the other. I took the clear chip out & put the game chip back in, got the first RAM ERROR, opened the door & turned the reset key 4 times, closed the door. Waited until the next call attendant message, opened my door & it says system error instead of eprom error so I can't go any further than that. Could I possibly have a bad version, SB or SG chips?

Yes bad or wrong chips could cause that. Post a pic.

I tried 2 different version VS011GX1chips & I'm still getting a system error after I install the 1170 board back into the machine, can the SG or the SB chip cause the system error?

Problem solved, I had 1 or 2 bad SG chips, I installed SG000232 chips & the machine booted up fine.
