Success!  We now have fully functional coin in and coin out!  I replaced the coin chute with a complete diverter assembly.  Works fantastic!

If it weren't for the nostalgic clanking of silver dollars, I would have skipped this as well, but it just sounds so darned cool when cashing out.  :)

Thanks again to everyone that helped assemble and troubleshoot this with me.

Just to close out, an MC62 will indeed work with newer operating systems.  The older versions didn't even list it as an option.  Newer operating systems do list it.
