Customer brought in a Five Times Pay he bought off the internet a while back. The game has buttons and Reel Glass for a 9-Line 45-Credit game, but only plays up to 5 credits and only pays off on the center line. I think the game has been converted to Five Times Pay and whoever did the conversion just changed the PROMs, glass, and reel strips.
Here's a pic of the chips:
The purple stripes on the SB chip don't match the blue stripes on the other chips, so I'm guessing it's not original to this board. Can't find the SB100389 in the S2000 Game List posted elsewhere here, so I can't verify which version it's supposed to be. I know they make this game as a 9-Line with a 5-Reel setup, but is there a 3-Reel version? I don't see anything in the options that would make it change between how many lines it would pay off.
I'm guessing that if it HAS been converted and does NOT have the ability to be made a 9-Line with the current game, then his options are either:
A) Keep the game as a Five Times Pay single line and replace the control panel and reel glass if he cares about it looking like an original Five Times Pay.
B) Change the game PROMs to something compatible with the 3-Reel, 9-Line, 45-Credit control panel and reel glass, then change the Reel Strips, Top Glass, and Belly Glass to match that game. If I do a conversion, he'd prefer a Wild Cherry game, but I didn't see a 9-Line version of it on the list.
C) Leave it alone and play it as a single line and try to ignore all the extra buttons and stuff.
If anyone has any insight into this, I'd appreciate it - especially if you know what game the SB100389 references and if there is a 3-Reel 9-Line version of this game available.
Thanks...
