Bill Validator Stacker Error

I'm getting a Bill Stacker Validator Error on my Game King with a WBA12.

When I open the cash box and remove the tickets, restart the machine, the error clears until I put in 5 or 6 more tickets in, then the error returns.

Does this sound like a cash box issue?

Any ideas what I should be looking at?

I had an S2000 doing the same thing. Really frustrating. Some say to bend the tabs at the top up to make a better connection to the acceptor. But I finally bought another stacker and it fixed it. Do you have another in a different machine? If so give it a try.

I bent up the tabs that the cash box sits on and the errors have now gone away.

Next time I'm ordering parts I will order a second cash box.

Never a bad idea to have a backup. I always keep a spare or two. Glad you got it going. Man I hate errors when I'm in the middle of playing. Enjoy!
