E2000
« on: March 10, 2016, 07:38:23 PM »
Bally e 2000 7s progressive . First coin a light stays lit after handled is pulled.  When I place the first coin in, it displays second coin played.  Second coins takes it to the third.   Third coin in, only first coin in stays lit.   Had the boards to Dan for repairs.  Believe they are in good shape.  Not sure the hopper is paying at the time due to the coin in issue

Has anyone experienced this before?
Thanks for your expertise

Extra coin will do that. 4th coin goes as a credit to the next game. Just put in 2 coins  and pull the handle. See what that does.

That seems strange that it would not go to third coin when the third coin is played.  In any event. The SM is paying out, unfortunately not properly.  I shall do more research.  I'm not sure this is due to the battery not being a nicad?

first question Dan Ellis do you test the boards with the personality prom in them
second question do you have the progressive box hooked up to the machine if not do you have the dip switch setting to shut it off
third question I would like a picture of the coin switch

Looked for a progressive box hookup did not see one however was not really sure what it look liked.  Tried to search images on the Internet no photos

Dan worked on this board in January

Pays off 60 coins each time.  Not based on the reel strips

Yea, the tag says E1216.
That makes it a E1000.

the P1 chip 558989 is for a 5 coin multiplier - your glass and lighting is for a 3 line machine so your lighting will be messed up as well as your payouts

Picture of the tag attached.  Looks like a 1099. Mistook the 20 as a 2000.
I'm not sure that will help my repair based on the chip issues.
Jon, and other appreciate your review.  If the correct chips for this machine is out there could one direct me?
Also looking for replacement of the three line glass.  Paint is chipping off

those are an after market  (non bally strip) would have to match them to known bally to find the correct game chip or to make one that matches.  Need the sequence of symbols for each strip.  example 7 bell plum cherry.......   for all 3

After butter knife surgery I'm posting photos of the reel strip numbers.  Appreciate everyone response to this post.  Is anyone going to the Chicago show in April?   Love to buy some coffees.
Make it a great night
