HELP: TITO Boards Work on Some IGT I-Games, But Not Others

I have 5 IGT I-Games with TITO boards, but I can only get 2 of them to work with the TITOs installed. I have all settings set correctly, and have keychipped and cleared EEPROM and RAM on them all many times. The ones that don't work, request a handpay instead of printing tickets. The same machines will NOT accept tickets. No idea what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Try the two tito boards that are on bad machines on a working machine (just swap them around) and see if the error follows the TITO boards, if it does, you have bad TITO boards.  If it works, then check the ribbon cable that goes from the backplane to the power distribution board/WAP board where the TITO plugs in, sometimes this cable is bad or loose.

All the oder (non-USB) TITOs work on the working machines. The newer (USB) TITOS don't work on any machines, including the WMS BB1.


UPDATE: I swapped ribbon cables, which did nothing. Working machines function as expected with other machines' ribbon cables. Also, when attendant key is turned, working machines say, "PENDING TILTS: None", while non-working machines say, "PENDING TILTS: "Validation System Failure". All machines have identical settings and have been triple checked.

If your validation is set to system and you are getting those errors and you tried using your newer TITO's on the machines that had older TITO's installed and working then your newer TITO's are bad.

Where did you get those from, I would be talking to whoever sold you them.

I am talking to him (RB senior member). My main reason for posting this thread is to figure out why some Igames don't function as expected using the same TITOs installed in other Igames with the exact same settings.
