First off, thanks for the help.
1. Dhellis did check the power supply board and said it was good.
2. Power cord condition looks good.
3. The ribbon cable between the I/O and MPU look good. I also sent that onto Dhellis and he checked it and said it was OK. I also did a continuity check between each corresponding pin on the two ends and it checked out.
4. I believe I have a comparator. Slip a quarter in the slot of the mechanism and then it recognizes quarters.
5. Power supply plug looks as good as new. I found a cut on the cord. Not short, so I re-taped it. Looks like it got closed in the door at one time.
6. I fiddled with the plug with the power on and all it did was power on and off. For a very brief time when it powers up I get a . . . . .6 on the display before it switches to b b . . b 1 (b=blank)
Let me know what all this tells you if anything.
