Moolah Question
« on: March 28, 2017, 06:06:38 PM »
Ok what SB, game chips and version chip to run with this kit?  I have conflicting numbers so now I am confused.

I want to put this game in an S2000 someone told me it was an S+ game, so is there a SB chip for S2000 if not for Double Moolah there has to be another chip that plays and pays out the same game.

Would appreciate if you can tell me what game chip you think is best, I can never figure out which set of game chips to put in along with the right vs chip.

Thanks!!!  Still learning the weird combinations.

Also in an S2000 anybody know a cool sound card combo to go with this?  Or just a 42?

Use 363 SG chips and a GX1 version on most if not all 'basic' 3 reel games when using a 5XX MPU. 598 or 523 SG chips with a GX1 in 1270 MPUs for most if not all 'basic' 3 reel games. 224 clear and key45 to do all the setting up on both..

Not sure if there is a clone of that in SB, I didn't investigate... But you can use an SB1000 along with a Moolah SS and run it in an S2000.

Again, on basic S2000 3 reel games you can monkey around and try a bunch of sound simms, they work, but might not match hits/sounds as intended.. Always have a 42 laying around if you plan on testing out simms, it is needed to open all the sounds on some game/simm combos.

Harvs is correct.. That is a S+ game, so you need to use what ever SS Chip you have plus the SB100000 chip. I think you sound is going to be just legacy sound. I don't think you can run a sound Simm when using a SS Chip.

  :cool_thumb_up:  A 42 will work with the SB1000/SS deal I think, 99% sure.

Well I'm going to put a Haywire kit I just picked up into a S2000 cabinet. I'll have to give it a try myself.

Ok little more explanation on this.  I can guess the SB1000 chip goes in the normal SB spot on the board but where does the SS4673 chip go???  If you can, please post a picture as I am too stupid to learn without pictures.

Next I don't have either of these chips so surely someone can get me a set of these two, if you can please PM me a price shipped to 80108.

Thanks for all the help!!

I need an SS Moolah Chip and a SB1000 chip.  Please let me know if someone can fix me up with these to purchase so I can complete this machine.  Moolah chip I would prefer number is list in the thread above but I would take any of them.
