BV problems

hello,,ive got some Bv problems its a 4 reel 3 coin ballys bonus frenzy,my buddy gave me a upgrade transport and all still cant get sucker to work,,,,instead of getting into everything,,i wil say this was from winsor canada it did take bills with no proble but just stopped wouldnt even cycle so i got a upgrade from my friend i think he said mars,it might be bad also so my question is 2 things what should i do when installing a upgrade,ive tried the dips,,i did a full clear,just cycles but doesnt take bills,,,,what would be a good upgrade for this machine and where can i get one,,ill look on ebay but i need to know what model do i get,,,il go to a original or upgrade i dont care i just want it to take bills like it did,,,i tried attaching photos but it was to large,,if you need more info please let me know thanks

Post a photo of your machine.  Different model ballys use different validator protocols.

The transport (WBA?) may have been fine. It may have been the scanner head that was bad.

Thankyou for the advice but its working now,,i pulled the upgrade out and took old one and cleaned it and all connections,cleaned head alls working fine now,,the light on the front of door doesnt come on but it takes and tallys bills
