Faded Prints?
« on: August 27, 2023, 12:57:49 AM »
I have been having an issue with inconsistent prints.

So my S2000 slot, no matter what paper I use it always prints perfect.

My G23 slot is where all the issues are.  For the past 2 years since I got the machine, I notice that the bulk paper I got with the disclaimer on the back will often perform the worst.  The blank paper I got seems to do better.

I notice that if I print for the 1st time in a while, it will almost always be a bit faded.  Often still ok to put back in machine, but sometimes not.

The 2nd print will often be much better, almost perfect but still not.

This is what I've been dealing with since I got my machines.

So the paper I got came from 3 sources.

1. with disclaimer (about 20 packs)
2. blank from the people who sold me the machine (about 5 packs)
3. blank from another source (about 10 packs)

This is where it got VERY ODD.

I'm down to 2 blank packs left (no idea what source).  I put 1 in.  All of a sudden, this machine is giving me the most perfect BOLD prints you could ever want.  It's happening now on EVERY print, it's perfect.  It looks even better than my other machines prints that I always thought were great.

So what's the deal?

Why is the current pack so perfect?

Could the paper I have gotten been bad, and that was causing issues?

Is there something else I'm missing?

Is there a spot where I can purchase paper and ensure a quality paper?

Sorry for the long post any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
