Hold Credits

How do I change the machine to hold credits? I just got an s-2000 Triple cash and it pays the credits out. I would like to change it to hold them.

With zero credits on machine. Press test button on MPU, leave door open. Using your cash out and bet one button scroll to machine options, press spin reels to enter option. Set your credit limit to 100,000., yours is most likely zero, Set bill limit to 10,000., jackpot limit to 10,000. Pressing Max credit button on right saves your settings and exits. Close the door and you should be good to go.

those are all set and they were I didn't have to change it still dropping coins.

Hopper limit?? Disable hopper.

I set hopper limit to zero now it hand pays everything. Is that what you meant by disable hopper by setting to zero? if not how would I disable it?

So I set hopper limit to 1000 and now it works

It could have had something to do with how many credits were on the machine at the time of the win. For instance if the credit limit is $4000 & you have 3990 $ credits on the machine. A win of $15 would put it over the credit limit so the hopper pays automatically or hand pay depending on your setup.
