Igt s2000 Amp Harness Removal Help Needed

I'm trying to get this 10 pin plug out but I'm having trouble doing so. I just don't want to break it. Any ideals on the easy way. I just don't want to forced it out. Any help would be great. I recall  this being easy for some plugs but this thing DANG! See the picture attached.

Just hold the release tab with your thumb. If it doesn't want to pull out, try pushing it in then pull. They can be a pain at times but it should come out. As long as you're holding the release tab it shouldn't break anything.

On the 10 pin harness, what's the best way to remove the pins on the looped wires? I'm changing their locations. Jumper from the 8th and place it in the 1st position, move the jumper from the 6th and place it in the 5th position.

It seems tedious but easily doable. Just use something like the point of a very small nail & push down on the locking pin tab of the pins you wish to remove. They should slide right out. Then raise the tab before reinsertion so the pin will lock in again. The edge of a razor blade works well for that.

Thanks again RB I did it by switching these wires..I finally got my machine to turn down . Volume 1-9 was like volume 10, now my neighbors can't hear me playing.
