S2000 won't pay out from hopper, only pays by ticket printer

Have a S2000 with coin hopper, bill acceptor, and ticket printer.  Currently it is set up for coins to game, but when playing coins it pays winnings to credits.  When I cash out it prints a voucher.

[/size]I want to play coins and have it pay coins, but have the player option (if this is possible) to cash out with a ticket voucher.

[/size]Not sure what I am doing wrong.  I have tried various settings but nothing seems to work.  One thing I notice is I can't change the setting that shows CREDIT MODE in the settings.  I read somewhere you can't use both a hopper and ticket printer, but others have advised it is possible.

I would disable both [split pay]  and [partial token payout].
Whenever you get a winning hit, the credits won will accumulate onto the credit display.
When you cash out, you should have the option to cash out by coins or ticket.

So there isn't a way to have it payout in coin to a limit of say 400, and the excess winnings go to credit or hand pay?

Leave the [split pay] on then, but disable the [partial token payout].
When you cash out, the machine should drop 400 coins into the tray and payout the rest by ticket.

An attendant handpay is when you hit the cashout button but you have more than $1,199.00 in credits.
The game locks up and you need the reset key to unlock it.
At that point, it will still pay 400 credits to the coin tray and knock off the rest.

What type of machine is it?  1 payline, 2 paylines, 3+?  How many coins per payline?

My s2000 has coins and a printer.


I can drop in coins, cash or redeem tickets. It all goes on to the credit line in the display.
When playing,  any winnings go to the credit line display, just like when I drop a coin in.
My machine has 9 lines @ 10 per line. 90 per max bet. When playing it you wouldn't want all the wins to be paid to the coin tray, that would be a major pain, because getting 90 coins again for the max bet takes forever.


On cashing out you don't get to choose between the two when it's time to cash out.
On cash out, mine will pay the hopper limit in coin and anything above that gets printed on a cashout ticket.


I set my hopper limit to 100 coins. It's a quarter machine so that's $25.00, anything above $25 is on the cashout ticket.
If I have less than $25 that I'm cashing out it all goes to coin.


I have split pay enabled - I assume that's why i get coin and tickets the way I described.

I've never seen/touched the token setting?
I've never seen/touched "coinless" setting?


I think my coin pay limit is set at 000000. (can't remember)

If you set the credit limit to a low number, every time you hit a payout over the credit limit it will pay the hopper limit in coin and print a cashout ticket for anything over the hopper limit, and it will leave the credits in the machine at whatever balance you had after that spin. Oddly it won't increment the credits to the limit before it does the split payout.

It is 1 payline, 3 coin machine.


I like to trade off dropping coins and playing credits....so I always like to have coins in the tray to play with.


I will make some setting changes tomorrow and see if I can get it working like you describe.  Not 100% like I want, but better than what I have now.

In case you would like to play with wins immediately going to tray instead of credits, there is a way. Just set your credit limit to 1. (It won't accept 0)
