IGT S and S-plus Reel Games / Re: IGT Double diamond S Plus, RESTORATION« Last post by David Walz on Today at 09:22:31 AM »Important lighting information, the fluorescent LED has two makes, one needs a transformer to work, the other just plugs in without the transformer and starter.

Other Hobbies and Interests / Re: Help with Johnson Fare Box« Last post by shortrackskater on Today at 09:13:28 AM »I'm just curious here now. I work with antique mechanical slots and payphones (not on this forum which is generally more "modern" stuff)
Can you past larger photos of the front, back and maybe bottom? I'd like to see how it comes apart. 6

Bally Electromechanical / Re: Bally Slot Machine« Last post by shortrackskater on Today at 09:00:10 AM »In my opinion, most EM issues cost nearly nothing to fix... it's a matter of proper troubleshooting; checking wiring, contacts, relays, solenoids, etc. I'm not speaking for myself! I struggle with these but you've already had enough similar circuitry experience to do this.
I've found slot stands on Craigslist at times. The easiest thing is just repurpose a heavy duty night stand or wooden file stand. If you search "slot stands" on the entire forum, you'll get some great ideas. Most importantly, bolt that slot down on the cabinet! As for the hopper, best thing is post a WTB in the Newlifegames Classifieds. They're on eBay occasionally but you'll need to figure out the model number you need. Any of those three members I mentioned will likely know. Actually, the model # should be in the manuals Badbaud referred you to. Member wolftalk may chime in soon. He's got an extensive amount of documentation for the Bally EM as well. 9
MEI Mars Bill Validators / Re: MEI Bill validator« Last post by shortrackskater on Today at 08:34:32 AM »From member Tperna:
To Stayouttadabunker, you are the greatest machine fixed, I replaced that card with one that showed almost no depression on those two and works great. Topic split at this point: power supply problem. Moved to IGT S2000. 10
Bally Electromechanical / Re: bally 1090-106« Last post by mojorisin on Today at 07:46:41 AM »Additionally.. I see no movement from the odds unit (which i believe is the multiplier unit?)
