POG help needed

I have a POG board here I need to sort out a few issues on .....I have a board here thats boots up to EPROM CHEKSUM ERROR....... I cant do anything with it cause it wont respond to touch, when I go into touch screen calib section it defaults to ELO, I am using a 3M controller........ with no touch response I cant get into do anything.... is there a way I can get into this using player button or somehow change the controller config to 3m without it working ??? this is in a custom cab keep in mind not a casino cabinet....I already changed U39 with no change in results... the 1st LED does light when I touch the screen so its seeing it just not digesting it......somewhere I remember this issue once before but have no clue what I did to fix it on another machine..... any help is GREATLY appreciated

dips 2/4/8 are up .... ive tried all combos of switches 4-5 no difference....
I have both 580 and 581 sw here i tried in it, currently has 580 in now

oh last question, it wont display on my lcd with my converter board , is there a special one I need for this game or special settings ?? Im using a green board ega cga vga converter

also can someone help with the pinout for te DB9 to rj45  touch cable
mine is like follows

currently vid is hooked to my bench monitor so I can see a display as i touch the LCD

I got the touch working ... now i just need to square away the video issue with the converter board and do the configuration.... anyone familiar with the config settings of these?? been a lonnnnnnng time since i did one

[/size]what was the purpose to changing the u39, video graphics card? make sure all your MPC  or eproms on fitted on tight....and also the it may be the video adapter from the harness to the converter...change the converter, that should do the trick...if that doesn't work, my only advice is to take a hammer to it and that will definately do the trick...lol
