You have the monitor already then?  I don't have any for sale, but I wanted to let you know some information before you go any further on what you will need.

1.  You will need 1 Ghz MPU, some games require 2GB of Ram to work, so make sure if you don't already have the expandable 1Ghz MPU, get the right one, as there are two type of those, one of which cannot be expanded to 2GB of RAM.  You will need the dual video card to drive the two monitors needed for these games.

2.  My machine is an original cabinet from Bally as a transmissive game.  If you are converting from an existing Stepper S9000 elite, I am unsure if your reels will work.  I know Coolwave has done the conversion, but I am unsure if he changed his reels as well.  The reels on my machine are different than the ones on my regular S9000 elite stepper, and so is the reel control board (the little board that sits inside the tray right on top of the reels, usually locked with a key).

3.  There is a touchscreen cable coming out of the transmissive monitor that plugs into the backplane as the 2nd touchscreen, it is a 5 pin flat molex black connector, really thin, make sure you have this connector on your monitor.

Good luck getting all the parts, these are really cool games, too bad WMS won the lawsuit and they had to stop making them.  Isn't it ironic that now they are part of the same company?

Hi Tom,

i'am pretty sure that i have a complete Bally Alpha 2 transmissive 5 reel kit. Including the special LCD screen, reel assemblies and so on. I even have the software.

I'am back at home tomorrow; please let me know if you are still interested. If so i would check tomorrow and let you know.

Many greetings, Dennis
