IGT G20 "No system launcher found or determined " HDD Crash?

Hello,

I have a IGT G20 with a 3.0 brain box. I came home and booted up the machine and now have a message that appears and cannot get passed. "No system launcher is found or determined, system boot fails".

From what I can tell online, I think my hard drive might have died. I cannot find any info on what kind I need to buy to replace, and it sounds like I may need to have a copy of the OS to install as well. I cannot find anything for sale online for this either.

Sounds like it's bad or corrupt.  If it's corrupt reloading it will fix it, otherwise it will need to be replaced.

In addition to the OS you'll need a diag key, Ekey 7, and the game loader files.

When you say it is bad or corrupt are you referring to the hard drive?

I have the e-key and diagnostic key, and game keys already.

I cannot find an OS for sale online anywhere.  Any ideas on where I can find it?

If I buy a new ssd, what kind do I need?

Yes, the hard drive.

I've had good luck with PNY drives.  About $20 from Amazon.

If there is anyone on the forum that can assist me with the OS I would greatly appreciate it. If I need to purchase, that's fine also.

Just FYI I have had this problem before with SAVP's and solved the problem just by doing a RAM (including cabinet) clear.  Worth a shot as it would be an easier fix if it works.

Thanks for the suggestion. I believe I already tried that when the problem first showed up, but I might try again.
