Game King System Validation Error

I have 2 game king machines, both have 044 boards. One machine ive had for a couple of years, has TITO that I added, and works great. My second machine I just picked up recently.  Did not have TITO.  I added a tito board, key chipped it with key 28, and set my settings. I used the exact same settings as my first GK..And from watching and reading posts and videos. When i was done, my candle is flashing,  & my service button gives me no credits. I added credits using the bv, and hit cash out. Message says handpay required. My pending tilts says System Validation Error. Thinking I missed a step, I did key 28 again and started over. Same thing! Just as a test, I went to my first gk, and key chipped it, and used the exact same settings. Service button works. Printed tickets,  and took tickets.

Where do I go from here?? As far as I know, the printer in my new GK works. It has power, hooked up correctly, green flashing arrow, advances paper if I push the paper feed button. All good signs.

Any help or advice would be appreciated!

System Validation Error is a big clue to your problem.
What do you have the validation set for?

You may have to change the validation setting.
You didn't mention what your TITO instructions say to set it for.
Click on it to see if you can make any changes.
I don't know offhand if you need to keychip it or not.

Go to the screen page that looks sort of like this below.
The title of the page should be in white on the top of the screen.

The other thing, if the settings are the same, try swapping the printers?

Set it to "Standard" and see if it works?

Set it to "System" and see if it works?  You changed what your wrote.  Standard will not work for tito.

His pic says system.  Try swapping your titos.  There are also a few other setting that must be correct.

You also should get a GKBDEV39 and pitch that key 28.

I tried that as well..swapped the tito boards. Same thing. I'm almost positive I have all the settings correct.  ..almost. It's been a while since I set my other one up, so I watched a few videos ..and did alot of reading. My first one had TITO instructions in the cabinet when I got it, so I followed that ..and it worked perfectly.  All the videos I watched matched the instructions I have

In addition to the SAS software settings make sure it has a ribbon cable installed from the comm board to the motherboard too.

I was having a problem with my new Game King TITO and was reading your suggestions.  Got to make sure ribbon cable is hooked up.  Mine was not.  Now working fine.  Thanks
