Consistent Hum or "Moan" sound from BB2

Has anyone ever encountered a repeating Hum or "Moan" sound coming from inside the cabinet of a BB1 or BB2?
It repeats about every 2-3 seconds. It is not coming from the speakers!
Still does it even when in "Out of Service" mode. Only way to get it to stop is turn it off.
I listened inside cabinet and can't pinpoint where it's coming from.....

And I don't know if this will help, but it seems to be getting louder than it was last week.

Thanks. Sounding like a nube, but where are these fans located? I looked in the cabinet and can't see any fans (except for the cpu fan).
I'd like to disconnect one (or all) momentarily to see if the sound goes away. Could you point out the connectors for these fans if that would be an easier path to troubleshoot?

There should be two cabinet fans. One on the top cabinet and the other on the bottom. Look at the side of the cabinet there should be two vents one on either side of the top and bottom cabinet. One side will have the fan and the other is for venting. There are molex connectors with two wires you can disconnect to test.

There's also a 3" fan in the PSU drawing in air, as well the fans mounted inside each of the two monitors.
A "normal" BB2 has seven fans running...it's a hog.  :mspacman: :mspacman: :mspacman: 

Can you just imagine how many electric fans are running in a large casino?

Yes there are 7 fans in the BB2. Depending on what brand of monitors you have. Some don't have fans. I would check all fans to make sure there working. The cabinet fan on the left side of the lower monitor usually goes bad. I replace all fans when I go through them.

Thank you all for the great info! I partially removed the two monitors and saw the fans in question. The upper fan was working fine. The middle fan was loaded with dirt and dust and not even turning. I'm going to replace them in both of my BB2s.
