The cabinet front pay out had to be completely rebuilt, refinished, before the rebuild the door had closing issues.

  I just got in a used but in excellent condition middle glass plate since this one was pealing. Most of the bulbs are replaced with USA made GE new old stock, however I ran out of them for the top, so I ordered some more.

  I've done a lot of "quality" work, new screws replacing missing or damaged ones, tracing all of the wires, rewiring using the factory diagram for a exact duplicate, moving stuff back to where the factory had them. I used Molex on some wiring to protect the electric from shorts, soldering broken wires, replacing  broken springs, replacing all of the bulbs, replacing the chipped glassglass and flaking glass. Installing a new electrical power supply, re-attaching the lower and upper cabinet, filling the old holes in the cabinet with " plastic dark brown plugs", touching up the interior cabinet, removing holes that were not factory.


  I still have to run a power box with a switch to turn on and off the slot machine, I don't want to change what the factory built, so I'm building a double gang box with a light switch and a single plug in for the slot machine. This way I have it set up just the way it was without butchering the wiring. The base cabinet has some small changes, I'm installing a " funnel" inside the lower cabinet to direct the quarters to the box for coin storage. All of the Ace tumbler locks have been keyed alike, the slot machine door, lower cabinet door and key override.


The slot machine is working now, I have the belly glass to install, belly glass trim, bulbs to finish, some cabinet fixer upper, and miscellaneous stuff. 


  The major issue is getting the payout working correctly,  I'm going to have to read the book and get working on it.

Up to now I've got a handle on most of the electrical issues except for the six volt if I unplug the upper lights the fuse wont blow, if I plug in the upper lights the fuse blows, however its tied into the door someway and I need to work on it. 




  Im finding all sorts of fubar's in this machine, the florescent light kept falling out, I realizeed that the screws holding the thing together were backward pushing the bulb out. A simple issue however on this machine its commonplace for things to be screwed up. It is just ine issue at a time.

Depends on what type of hack owned it before you. I’ve seen some pretty messed up machines.

Well, I'm un-hacking it,  when its completed its going to be correct. When its complete it will be a nice one.

Another issue, the upper cabinet has two plugs, I think I have gotten them mixed up. Can anyone give me some direction?

Ive circled this resistor/part, is this normal? I cannot find this on any diagram, is this a added chingaderas.

No that’s normal. I’ve seen them with and without the resistor. If I get a machine in and I need to change the switch or rewire it due to a nasty solder job, I always leave it. If it’s missing, then I leave it off.

I finally got the wiring completed, everything electrical is functioning as it should and NO ugly black tape, hacked wires.    for all your HELP.
