E1000 Handle & Handle Mechanism Removal
« on: February 17, 2022, 01:28:56 PM »
I am looking to remove the handle and mechanism to sell off but before I start prying in places I probably shouldn't pry I figured I would check with you very knowledgeable people. There is a split in the bottom of the handle cover and a Allen screw, I took out the Allen screw and wedged a screwdriver into the split to widen it a bit but the handle did not seem to budge. Can the handle come off the shaft from the outside or do I need take the actuating arm off the other end and slide the shaft from the inside to outside.  I hope that's not the case of it just may not ever happen.

thanks
-mike

Ok, so if nobody can give any insight into removing this handle assembly, does someone at least know if this is a end cap at the end of the handle assembly or it is it simply a decorative line cut all the way around? I don't want to risk tearing it up trying to take it off if it indeed DOES NOT come off.
