1100 miles yesterday to pick up a new machine had to take it apart to put it in the car but it came with lots of spare boards let's see if we can get it out and get it working

Looks like you'll be going thru the E1000 CPU's and have some spares. Those are known for bad connectors between the RAM board and the main board. Also, the original NICAD batteries tend to leach corrosion onto the RAM boards, so look for damage there.

I am actually getting ready to move out of state all of my spear 1000 parts are already in Michigan all these spare parts came with the machine and I've got it up and working now I have to clean it and make it look presentable and the wife wants to keep this one

I need to swap out all these boards and test all of them and make sure they all work and box him up and send them back with me . please nice but I need to oil it

the machine seems to be working really good I think I have the wrong chip on the motherboard due to the way it's paying out I have the right chip to put in I will do that later. during payout it tends too tilt sometimes it'll pay two coins before it tilts you have to hit the reset button sometimes it'll pay a hundred coins out and not tilt I'm guessing maybe the switch is not adjusted right on the coin out?

yes one ram board does have some corrosion I will repair it and put it in the machine and test it to make sure it works

adjusted the coin switch tighter started tilting every other payout loosened the switch up ran a hundred Paul hasn't tilted now to change that pesky RAM chip on the motherboard it's paying a hundred on one thing it should pay 20 on

if I would've read the book first it would have been easier
