Alpha 2 install issues

Trying to install monopoly 36087 on my alpha 2. Followed Bettor slots you tube  instructions https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XBYCJSUZR9k  but something seems to be missing. Says game setup not complete. Not sure what’s missing?  Perhaps newer games are not covered under the 2008 video instructions?

My O/S 366. MPU 2.1. Followed all instructions on you tube video. Had same issue loading Willy Wonka Dream factory, other than, it also said game not selected.

Thank you.  I will change the machine serial and asset number from blank to 1 and see what happens.

The set up worked perfectly. Thanks very much. I overlooked the topper requirement for V22/32 so I ordered the VGA to DisplayPort adapter. Hopefully that does the trick.

Before I realized that a VGA to display port adapter was required for the topper, I played the game and got into the bonus and it got hung up because the topper wasn’t connected properly. I installed the topper adapter and turned the machine back on but topper doesn’t come on and it’s hung up on waiting for bonus. Machine has credits on it, can I clear it with clear card and try again? I have the Nvidea K2000 and topper is connected properly

I would turn it off,


put the clear card in the top slot.


Turn it back on, clear it by toggling the attendant key.


Turn it back off, remove the card.


Turn it back on and let it load.


after it is all done loading (may take while) 


Push the test button on the CPU and go through the steps again to set up everything in the menu again.


You should be good to go after that.

These alphas record the hardware configuration of the game the first time it loads up after a clear.  If you change anything (monitors, sound boards, etc) 99.99% of the time you will need to clear for the game to work.  In your case you had an active game and it tilted because it tried to display the bonus information on the topper and it couldn't.  Because you had credits on the machine, it typically will not let you alter anything on the machine until you cash out, but you can't because it's locked up.  So your only option is to clear and setup the game with everything connected properly.
