There was a guy on e-bay selling one for 6K.  They are becoming more readily available.  A lot of these get converted to video bluebirds and sent down to Latin America.

Yes, at least two or more members that I know of have these, or similar BB2 Transmissive reel games. Expect to pay in the $5K range at this time.

We've custom built more than a dozen BB1 to BB2 conversions at this point...heh....which is about a dozen more than I ever expected given the costs involved.  Still though they are a little less costly than an original BB2 with the added benefit of getting 2 brand new 22" HD Ceronix monitors versus used monitors in the BB2's.  Pictures don't do them justice...truly gorgeous monitors with a glassy screen.  Few pics...

Do you want a Goldfish 2 game or do you want a standard Transmissive or a straight Video BB2.?

We sold the ultimate BB2 package late last year and earlier this year

Late Model BB-2 machine (2010 Models)

Included the following components as a kit for many game changes

Mint condition True BB-2 cabinet with Top Monitor and Slot Handle and OLED Deck Standard
3 Reel Transmissive Set Up (Reels, Kit and Lower Monitor)
5 Reel Transmissive Set Up (Reels, Kit and Lower Monitor)
Video Monitor (Brand New Ceronix) and harnessing
Goldfish 2 Top Box Display (with either game kit desired)

also sold as just a dedicated single type set up or just transmissive (3 and 5 reel)

the cabinet is modular and components just snap in so change over time is minimal, say 15-20 minutes for 3 reel to 5 reel conversion of hardware

We may have 1 more set up available shortly or simply as a 5 reel transmissive with a Super Multi Pay Progressive kit installed (Like Hollow's Riches)

The cost is much more affordable with the BB-1 to BB-2 conversion, but a BB-2 sure is a nice game when 1 machine can play a boat load of titles and having so may options (reel or video with minimal effort)

Sold BB-2 5 Reel Transmissive - Treasures of Sparta in March for $4850 and was as nice as you can get, also included the 3  reel transmissive set up and kit

Have 1 left that I thought was spoken for but loosing that thought

Other Super Multi Pay Progressive themes available are

Holows Riches
Deep Sea Treasures
X- Marks the Spot
along with another Treasures of Sparta

these are a few dollars less (regular 5 Reel Transmissives)

Treasures of Machu Pichu
Wild Safari

By the way the Sound Effects on the BB-2 are sooooooooo much more complete than a BB-1 but they do cost more $$$

I have that conversion kit sitting in storage, i got screwed from a former member on here that sold it to me as working for a bb1.  Not the case.  It looks really cool but not worth the effort for me at least to try and make it fit into one of my bb1 cabinets, plus id need to upgrade the cpu.  I have the 5 reels, strips, glass, front display screen, software, the mechanical top box and topper.  Everything thats shown in the machine posted.

I've converted a few BB machines into transmissive reel games.  I really enjoy playing them.  The conversion is not that hard.  If Lizzo has all the parts it makes it that much easier.  I can help anyone with the conversion if they buy it.

Enjoy!

The biggest issue with the conversion is cutting this metal part on the door.  You simply a need a little patience

The second part is to make brackets to hold the monitor on the door.

I sit the reel shelf right on the existing shelf - nothing to do other than place place it there.  I know of some other members who drilled this into the existing shelf.

For the top monitor I use an NEC E223W -

A few reasons - I have new original Kristel monitors, I have new Ceronix monitors

#1 - no modification to the top chrome is needed - this monitor fits perfectly
#2 - no bezel is needed - It's a  really nice fit

#3 - the most important thing -  A bb1 power supply is 300 watts  when you plug in two 22 inch monitors you are in fact drawing over 300 watts.   I have a meter on my UPS and was shocked to see how much
each monitor draws.   So either power the monitor with a brick (an AVP power supply works) or eventually pop goes the weasel

Yes the viewing angle is not as good - but it is not bad at all - and the monitor is $350 cheaper than a Ceronix

sorry I didn't respond sooner with a big thank you for posting those pictures.   thety certainly answered alot of my questions with how and if this screen would fit in a bb1.  Once I get the new CPU I'll give this conversion a go.   and hopefully get it to look as close as possible to the machine in the first post.

When converting to a reel machine can I keep my standard button panel or do I have to switch it out?

 :thank_you: :thank_you: :thank_you: :thank_you:
