WTB/Learn about IGT toppers

So guys...should I get into the topper thing?  I'm not interested in the matched inserts.  I would want something generic and cool enough that would accommodate all kits that I swap in and out.  "Hot New Game"...something like that.

I know nothing about these or connections.  One would be for my round top S2000, and the other would be for my 17" choptop I-Game. 

What's the height/width?
Easy connections?
Prices?

Nothing to it if you're talking about the traditional oval toppers. It has a ground, a 4 pin molex that plugs into your netplex board in the top box & a candle connector. 18" wide, 13.5 tall (add 4" for candle). I'm not too familiar with the polygon models but I know some members who are. I think they are a little more complex. The bases are interchangable for round or flat top machines. Topper candles use a different low profile base. Prices vary from $40-65 unless you need one with a hard to find plexie which might command a premium. Some early S2000 machines were not equipped with the netplex board in the top but that's an easy fix if you need to add one.

Love my IGT Oval Toppers, I think they make the machine stand out.  Love the LED's tracing around and Blinking at you!


Two 7MM Nuts,  One Molex Plug and a ground wire, simple hookup and mounting

Hardest part of these things is finding the specific title for your game but as you said if you are looking for the generic should be very easy.  I have about 5 of them currently and on a S2000 even I was able to hook them up without issue.

Bases are interchangable. Flat base fits a flat top, curved base fits a round top.
