IGT - AVP RAM CLEAR CHIP

Greetings from Texas!


I own an IGT AVP 100 Ladies video slot  machine.  I purchased the software for Stinkin Rich to change out  the game however, I am told I need a RAM Clear chip to install it. 
Does anyone have one for sale or know where I can purchase one?

There are actually 2 things you will need.  They're not chips though, one is a USB ikey and the other is a USB storage with software on them.  The ikey is called a Key 7 and the other is called a diagnostic 14.  If you are going to remove the old game and add the new game, you'll need both.  AVPs are multigame capable and you can run both games at the same time.  Only issue you'd have is if you have standard buttons and the buttons don't match both games.  I have the Key 7s and Diagnostics, they're new and pretty expensive.  If you can't seem to find them on ebay or anything let me know.

Nevin, You are correct,   E-keys 3,4,5 make a 7 also.  Diag has diff. versions up to 14-9.  Yes, Dynamic to static does throw kinks in things.  On the 3,4,5 (seperate e-keys you use the 5 the most) they did the 7 to do away with the 3 seperate e-keys for the tech's in the field working.

Yeah I just stopped telling people about the 3,4, and 5 lol.  We can't even buy those anymore (not that we would want to).  The only thing you can get from IGT now is the 7.  I'm just glad they're still using this system on all of their new product too.  Makes life much easier than back in the day when you needed a different clear for every different type of game.

By the way Delma, I'm almost positive that your 2 games will have matching buttons.  They are both 100 line games I believe.  I'll have to check our sheets at work to verify.  If so, I'd put both of them on there and have a nice multigame.
