Bally Game Maker Round top unit.

Okay I've got this HUGE ASS Bally Gamemaker in my garage. It's covered in real gold! Okay well it's just gold colored. I really don't need the top. I'm just seeing if there's any interest at all in it. I'd like to stick this in my room but that damn top piece is just too big. I'm just not sure how much demand there is for the gold color high top unit. Anyone have any interest? It's empty inside... just wiring and the top light and inside florescent light. I'm in Southern California. Shipping will probably be pricey to the east cost but I'll deliver it to a local shipping place at no charge.

Well, I happen to have a "gold" chop top that I'd like to change to a round top. Any interest in a trade??? Not sure if they would be interchangeable? I take it when you said "big" you meant 19" CRT,  heavy as hell???? Let me know.

Yes THAT one! I bought it about six months ago and loved it since my other two GM's (now sold) had such teeeeeeny screens! Now I kind of miss the little one. However if I take off the round top, it should be more manageable.
The round top unit size is about 18" high by 16" by 21.5"

I just recently acquired this machine from a friend. The board had been tested as good, but the battery needs replaced (as most ALL Ballys do). I'm thinking the monitor may be DOA, but I haven't had the time to check it out completely. If your not in a big hurry, I'll be checking it out this week. Do you happen to know what the costs would be to ship the tops? I know we'd be helping each other out so I'm good for a trade. Let me know, thanks.

Well I lopped its head off! It was more of an ordeal than I realized... see my other post in this forum.
