Newbie here: Questions about IGT S+ DBV200. How does the cash stacker work?

Thanks for all of the great info guys.  I've been reading up and trying to learn, but there is LOTS of info to take in. 


Got my first machine, it's a Hot peppers IGT S+.  I'm trying to get the DBV to work, it initializes on startup, but doesn't pull in anything.  The door bezel light isn't lit.


I've attempted to seat it correctly many times, and I believe it have it in correctly with the gears engaged.  The stacker door switch wires are hacked together. 


When I manually turn the gears however, I'm not sure the stacker is functioning properly.  Does the machine actually sense with optics that the dollar "pusher" engages correctly, and pushes the bill into the stack?  I can't seem to make that work when manually turning gears and wondering if this is possibly my issue.

Sounds like you need to use a set chip to turn on the bv.
