The fact that you a Have a message on the
screen is a good thing, your main board is alive.
The rolling screen is most likely due to bad capacitors on the monitor chassis.
Any tv shop could recap the monitor and get it working again.

Nope! Already gone down that path and purchased a caps kit for my monitor chasis and had them done so obviously the monitor side of things SHOULD be all ok! Any more ideas?

Have you had any luck with your machine yet? I have replaced the monitor and board but still not booting I am just getting the screen attached in the photo, is this the same screen your getting?

Hey buddy. Nope still no luck here. I get an almost black screen with just a scrolling white line though it I think from memory. (I will have to go have another look and maybe take some pics when I get time) What do you mean you replaced your board?? Is yours a Mk4? Where did you get a replacement board from?
