Double Gold flashboard R0000232, stuck in authentication on start

Hello everyone,  i have a S2000 with a 1270 board with a R0000232 flash board Double gold.  It was working great,  i am getting ready to sell another machine that had a MEI validator in it so i decided to take that out and replace the wba that was in the double gold.  Well,  after i installed the Mei into the double gold it just stays stuck in authentication.  I hit spin and says authenticating header and then it goes to local authentication.  Gives the option for offset set,  sha calculation,  MD5 calculation and restart.  Is there an offset code i need to punch in?  All help is appreciated,  thank you.

Try auto-config. Or I think settings lets you say what validator you have.

I cannot get to settings the way it is,  even after a clear and keychip applied.

What is the difference between RBK00001 & 00002? I've never used a 00002. The 00001 has always done the job for me.

I have been using RBK00001, the 001 has worked in the past, keyed it for my tito install no problem. I'll look for a 002 and give it a try.

The 001 should be fine.
Try reseating the R board on the CPU.

Got the game going,  i ended up swapping the 1270 board and it came back. Also found an issue with the reset button circuit on the original board, installed new button/switch and tried in another machine with a legacy board and pressing switch does nothing. Thank you to all that helped.

Not sure what the difference is. A 001 or 002 should work here

RBK00002 is for RGW (WAP) flash boards. Stumbled across that tonight while browsing through some PSRs.
