Update: We're in the home stretch on the 1997 19" Game King Refurb! New (to me) WBA 13 BV came in today and works perfectly. Reads all the bills I've thrown at it so far. A few other updates since I last posted...

- Determined the hopper is frozen (or just dead - I need to examine it further); I happened to have a spare so that is working.
- Ballast/Starter in the top box is dead; so rather than replace with older tech I decided to swap out both the top and belly lighting with LEDs; Should also go towards extending the life of the power supply.
- It would be easier for me to list things now that were not broken, dead or damaged; the original touch controller died on me during testing and a newer MicroTouch also bit the dust. 3rd time was the charm.

Rant: I had the touch panel all mounted and working and so proud of myself - until I noticed the spec of dirt between the panel and LCD - despite cleaning it several times with a microfiber towel. So the perfectionist in me can't abide that - so I'll be remounting the touch panel. /EndRant

Besides the cabinet artwork the machine should be done this weekend. I'll post final pics and my parts list. Then I need to decide what to do with it...lol. And of course there is still the matter of Fat Man's little brother on the workbench anxiously awaiting its turn.

It's Done! Behold the 1997 19" Game King (aka Fat Man) in all its restored glory! I'll post the full restoration log and costs later. Still may do some artwork on the cabinet - jury is out on that.

Pics below.

That turned out nice.
You did a really great job fixing it up.
I'll have to get some low resolution photos of mine and post them. I finished it last week.
