Looking to add a mei cashflow sc6612u to my igt s+ or plus s2000 can it be done

Ok I have a igt s+ and want to install
A mei cashflow sc6612u in it. I have
Everything I need but I can figure out
How to hookup the cables there are 8
Wires from the slot and there are more
On the mei I think I figure out the wires
But one the pink wire I will try to but up
A video and pictures thanks for any help

Pretty sure you would need a 6602. to even try it on a S+,  That is what it looks like you have.  All the wires are not used on diff. applications.  I had many of these back long ago and never tried that but yours has the usb cable and WILL not work--It was for somewhat newer stuff.  The best thing to do is put a old WBA 13ss with houshing and correct duck bill and you would be good.  That unit you have is not gonna work.

You also need a different power supply to use a WBA.

Check with Jim @ Midwest slots. He has a banner on the home page. He likely has a complete kit. Specify WBA 12 or 13. Will take everything except the newest $100. That's about the best you can do in a S Plus.

I can verify that the MEI cashflow series will not work on an S+, there's no software that supports that protocol.  MEI made an old validator that worked for the S+, I have personally never seen it, but I know it exists, but it was definitely not a Cashflow series validator.  Like mentioned before, the best validator available for the S+ is a WBA12/13.  It will accept up to the new $5's, but not the new $100.  All other bills will work.

They use them in the PE+ machines in a couple of downtown Las Vegas casinos to accept newer currency in machines that, like the S+, were limited in support from JCM with the DBV and WBA validators.

They probably have that protocol converter board that we have heard about.  It is not natively supported though, it is an aftermarket fix.  Now getting that protocol converter board is another issue.

I have 2 S+ machines with mei. The only problem I have is the "O" rings get sticky and jam the cash can
