Aruze Help Needed...

I just picked up two Aruze machines. I have no clue on these and I'm looking for help. Both machines show Backup Memory Cracked.  After reviewing the manuals here is what I tried.


I did the Ram Clear via restarting the machine with the reset key turned towards me and went through the process. It showed Ram Cleared.  Still have have the same issue on the restart.


I also tried to reset by moving the dongle on the PCB card by moving from On to Clear and back to On while the machine was off.  Still have the same issue on restart.


I heard there is a way to clear the entire machine by using the jumper on the main board.  Not sure which one to do or what the process is as I don't see that in the manual.


Any other suggestions on how to clear this error??


Thanks for any help anyone can share with me..


*****UPDATE*****


I was able to get both machines to clear.  After cleaning the ram sticks and changing all 5 batteries again, it finally cleared.

This is what I found in the Aruze manual.

Backup memory test : CRACKED
 The RAM is defective, or the RAM was corrupted.
 Clear the RAM or replace ram.

try to clean the memory slot with alcohol Isoplorico and try ram clear again, it worked for me several times

They are not, these are steppers that have been popular in casinos as of late, they have the VERY BRIGHT LED backlit reels and loud game noises as the game plays "ONE MORE FOR THE BONUS!"

Thanks for the help guys.  I received some help from one of the members.  I forgot to change the 2 additional batteries behind the reels.  He thought that would solve the problem.  I replaced those two and still no luck... :(


I did change out the ram with two new working sticks.. No Luck... :(


I will try the cleaning trick tomorrow.  Hopefully that might help.  These machines were VERY dirty when I got them so that would make sense..  fingers crossed...
