IGT S+ Double Diamond 3 Reel : Non-stop clicking noise

Hi All,
I don't have much experience with fixing slot machines, so I'm hoping someone can tell me what I should do to fix the non-stop clicking noise on my IGT S+ Double Diamond 3 Reel slot machine.  History: Worked fine until code 12 appeared, replaced battery.  Never got out of the 61 loop, so had to clear ram.  Used set chip for BV.  Restarted machine, bottom blinking light on candle started flashing indicating door optics problem.  Found broke wire on door receiver, so replaced door optics.  Restarted machine and non-stop clicking noise started.  I am able to put coins in coin drop, credits appear, can press either bet one credit and spin reel, or bet 3 credits.  All 3 reels spin, so machine seems to be functioning.  The only time the clicking noise stops is when the reels stop on a winning combination.  Not sure if the noise is coming from the coin comparator, the meters, or the reels...please help...where should I start looking?

Likely the rake on the back side of the comparator. Disconnect the wires going to it & see if the noise stops. If so you can remove it completely or replace it with a good one. You can also stick something under it to hold it open if you don't want to remove it. Every coin will drop to the hopper but excess coins might not register.

With something like this, it's certainly helpful to post a video if you can since we're not there to hear the clicking you're describing.  If you're able to with a cell phone or camera, take a brief video showing the issue, upload it to YouTube, and then post the YouTube link here for us to see and help you.

Thanks for the responses.  Turns out that it is the coin comparator rake.  Disconnected the wires and noise stopped.  Took it apart and picture below seems to be the offending part.  Would like to replace it...Anyone know what it is?  Thanks again for the help!

You can replace the coil with one of the same voltage (grey wires) but it might be easier to just find another comparitor.
