Cabinet type 0x04   is GFxD...   Will update my reply.

Also, noticed the Blade uses the same backplane as the BB1....  It has no connector on the Lamp Matrix J8, Game Lamps J15.  Only 2 wires on J19 ( 1 and 7)

Can someone tell me what pins 1 and 7 are labelled for on JP19?

WAIT!  What is this!    I see a jumper on the Game Switches connector...  pin 5 and pin 17 have a jumper in a blade cabinet..

It seems to me that J14 pins 2 and 5 (send to ground = pins 16,17) are used on the BB3 as the next SYSID bits.
By unplugging J10 and jumping pins 5 and 17 on J14, made the check pass for blade cabinet.
However, the video is shifted to the bottom - right.  Kristel 22's..

Am told there's better monitors to use for BB1/2 cabinets.

I can confirm your findings using my blade cabinet.  I unplugged J14 from the backplane and booted Life of Luxury Progressive game and got an error that it was unable to read the cabinet id.  I am going to make just a plug with the pins that are jumped and see if I can get it to identify as a blade.  My bb2 cabinet doesn't have anything plugged into j14.

Playing with J14 (while J10 pins 9,10 are open), stopped at pin 10.

Pin 1 to ground makes unknown cabinet
Pin 2 to ground makes unknown cabinet
Pin 3 to ground makes Gamefield
Pin 4 to ground makes GFxDv1
Pin 5 to ground makes Blade .. (not sure if it is Blade1 or Blade2)
pin 6 to ground makes sVAR1  (value 11)
pin 7 to ground makes video change
pin 8 to ground makes unknown cabinet
pin 9 to ground makes unknown cabinet
pin 10 to ground makes CPU Logic Box OK

Update:
Pins 4 + 5 to ground makes S32,  might also be Blade2?
