Attached is the noises my bill validator makes.
Doesn’t take a dollar.
Outside light doesn’t turn on.
I have blown out all the contacts and it just makes a quick noise and that’s it


Any tips would be nice


Setup is on 9-1 and set to 5000.

That flashing 0 is your first clue. You don't have the denomination set on your game. You may have set the 9-1 and the 25 cent (if yours is quarter) then pressed the white test button and held it in till you see a zero but you may need to tap the self test button till you see a 6 then tap the spin button to set the denomination there also.

Is this a new machine to you?  Did the validator ever work?


Check out this post from me on the old forum about some tabs that have to be aligned correctly on the back of the transport or you will get exactly the symptoms you are describing.

It's been awhile since I've owned a S+ machine, so going from memory here.  If I remember correctly, I believe the startup sounds should be the same regardless of whether the machine has the validator enabled or not.  So, if it doesn't sound right, there is something wrong with the acceptor itself or the power supply. 

It's hard to tell from the video, does your power supply have slits in the black plastic cover like the one pictured here?

your transport unit is not recycling the cash can!, either the cash can is defective, or binding,  or the white wheel on the left back is not engaging with the white wheel on the cash can. I can see that one of the dog ears is not positioned properly, it should hook and rest on the outer metal casing on each side, the right hand side is correct,  the left side is not .
