WMS CF cards...>>> Which OS for these?
« on: March 24, 2021, 02:46:22 PM »
I have these older CF PCMCIA cards...says on the labels...>>>
Treasure Diver....WMS Gaming Inc....S801-000-1010B4....D1.3 (256) G+
Zeus....WMS Gaming Inc....S712-000-1010B4....V:1010B4 (256)

Also an odd ball Family H19.32 game labeled as...>>>
Van Helsing....WMS Gaming Inc OS Family H19.32....D5A5-000-103u

What operating system works well with these games?
Would I need anything special to run them? (Top box fooler specific CF card or button deck configuration for example?)

Thanks for any help you can give me on these three cards I own.
Wanna see if I can get them up and running on my bench tester setup.

Treasure Diver is a BB1 game, Zeus can be played on a BB1 or a BB2, the last one, Van Helsing is odd ball because H19.XX  implies it's a BB3 game but on a white card instead of an orange one. But it requires a dongle to play
If it ain't broke don't mess with it.....

I know that Treasure Diver and Zeus are both BB1 Single screen games.

SSOS-000-1810 is the OS for Treasure Diver which is a D1.3
SSOS-000-1873 is the OS for Zeus, which is also Family D1.3

Van Helsing is a BB2 Game I believe and uses the family H9 OS.
I believe that the 2 digit number after the H9 needs to be equal to or greater than the Game number on the OS. So maybe an H9:32 or 33 would work as an Operating System.

For the 2 BB1 games, you'll need a standard button panel, won't support OLED.

For the BB2 game, either one should be supported.

Someone else may have more or better information than me, so don't bank on what I wrote. Lol.

But the OS numbers are what I've used on the 2 BB1 games in the past.

Information above is correct only for Treasure Diver. Zeus uses OS SG1490. Still odd ball OS Family on the last onr since it should be a BB2 dongle game
If it ain't broke don't mess with it.....

Thank you idesign.

Been a while since I've messed with either of those games.

Sorry for the bad information Mark!

:rotfl: Bad info sometimes is better than none Ash! Just kidding!!! haha

Thanks guys...awessomeness! :cool_thumb_up:

I have both decks hooked up to bench tester MPU, at the same time - one deck next to another.

Sometimes only the Max/Repeat button works on both.
Sometimes, only one deck works and not the other.
Sometimes only the Service button works on both.
Everything depends on what games are installed.

Way better I find playing with a bench tester than to have everything stuck inside a big old cig smelly metal box! haha

I find that Van Helsing works fine with a H13.33 or H13.35 512MB OS PCMCIA card no problem.
The "H19.xx' is probably a WMS misprint because it's an OEM label but remade onto a newer 2015 CF card for a casino in Germany I'm friends with.
