Never understood how someone could price those for double or triple what a MEI cam and lock with keys cost.

Best price I found was about $17....them Slam latches are NOT cheap!

It isnt even a lock. It is yellow plastic slide to lock on the bottom of the cash box. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I use a velcro strip, (fuzzy side) on the inner lip of the cash box. It creates just enough friction to keep the door from falling open when removing and inserting it. Cheap and effective.

OH MY GOD Ron!! That is amazing and so simple I dont know why I thought of that. I put them on all 8 of my chash cans and WHAT A DIFFERENCE. I have 2 WMS XD machines and those were always a pain in the butt to pull out the cash cans. Thank you sir!

I've modeled some replacement latches in Solidworks and I'm printing several sets of these now, I sourced the hardware needed from McMaster. Yellow filament is on the way, but they grey protos work well

Prototypical did this 3d printer work for me.  The models he has made seem to be well built and fit perfectly.  I don't think he has enough posts on the forums (or not a paying active member) to be able to post pictures just yet.

at the bottom of the post area is a button to add attachments.this won't show in the quick post, you need to hit the blue reply button for this

He clicks the "attachments and other options" but the actual attach "box" is missing from the drop down.  why i figured it was due to post count not being at the minimum amount required to be able to add pictures.
