2 Vintage 1940's Keeney Super Bell Slot Machines $3500

At first I never liked those style machines but the older I get, the more I kind of like them. I've seem them go cheaper in California but not restored as well as these. For two - I'd probably start at $1200 perhaps. Or, as I do here, just sit and wait to see if he lowers the price. It's a bit of a risk but I don't see these selling too quickly, at least out here.

FWIW, Keeney's are absolute nightmare's to maintain.  The aged wiring bundles crack, fall apart and shorts, and finding someone to work on them is like finding hen's teeth.  When the glass cracks or peels, finding replacements is almost impossible. Because parts are hard to find, people will slap in anything they can find.  I once had one so badly jury rigged that it paid out almost double what the pay card said it should.   

The only redeeming quality is they have a wonderful oak veneer under their paint.  I used to buy them for $150 back in the late 1970s, strip the peeling paint, stain the oak veneer and blow them out to anyone foolish enough to buy them.

They can be pretty, but unless you are up for a potential electronic adventure/nightmare, you might rethink buying one of these.
