How do I lower the odds of winning?

"Won" 200 coins last night, been pulling on and off today rather than paying out and am now up to 430 coins... doesn't seem right and don't want my coin mechanism reacting that often. When I turn the master key there seems to be options but i don't know where to start and don't want to completely screw things up.

Well that's ridiculous... what's the point of the master key and all the "gibberish" that comes up on the pay screen when I turn it? Right now hit 500 coins, not sure why odds are paying out over 100 percent right now unless it's just a lucky machine

That is a jackpot reset key.  It will also get you into accounting mode, that is what you called your gibberish, it has nothing to do with the payback percent.  It will start eating the credits up sooner or later.  You need a keychip and know how to use it to change payback, denom, and some other settings.  Some can be changed without a keychip.
