Cherry Master BV in slot machines?
« on: November 13, 2018, 02:13:34 PM »
I have a couple of "poker machines", (video slot machines "for amusement only" that we use in our local bars around here in Wisconsin). Cherry Master or 8 liners is the common term for them I believe.

Anyways, I have 3 of them I acquired free, complete without the main boards. CRT's, buttons, power supply, and bill validators are all in them. My question is, the bill validators are Pyramid I believe, have to look to be exactly sure (they're in the garage currently and its 14 degrees here today), but question, is there a way I could use the validators in a Bally 6000 slot and a Konami Herculite slot? It doesn't look like they would fit properly, they look too big honestly. But after some research it looks like the heads could be removed from the stackers, at least I think that is what they are called. I will upload pics soon if desired, if it will help answer the question. Also that will give me the actual manufacturer name and model numbers too for determination if they would work. Just gotta wait for the roommate to get home with my keys so I can get in the garage lol.

Hate to be the one to say it, but no, a Pyramid B/A is not going to work in regular slot machine.  But slot machine B/A's are plentiful and fairly cheap these days.  Pyramids are commonly used in games like you have, as well as Arcade games, and Vending Machines.

That's what I thought but hey you never know lol, probably going to order boards for the Cherry masters eventually and get them working again. Know of a few bars that might like to have them
