I am waiting on my Clear & Set chips from one of the site sponsors so i spent tonight cleaning it up, looking it over and I do need a couple of starters and at least 1 bulb so that leads to 1st question, is there a preferred color temp? Of course this is for home use and we love it has actual coins but I read I need to be careful setting up, what is the most entertaining way to set it up for payout?

I will shrink some photos and post them tomorrow.

Thanks as always!
Scott

Here are some of the pictures, I was asking about the color temp to see if anybody switched to a brighter cool white instead of soft white, I am picking up bulbs today.

Looks good! You can post larger pictures ... they're a little on the "too shrunk" size.
My machines are just cash/credit - they only spit coins out when CASH OUT is pressed. But some people like to set them up so they pay immediately. But then you have to keep on putting in coins of course.
I like my button lights more on the white side... cooler but some of my S plus machines just have the original style and are fine to me. If you search the site, there's a few posts showing the LED button lights too. But be careful, some just don't fit correctly even thought they claim they're the same size. I bought a set and the LED heads were too large and the contact wires were only single strand - so you had to wiggle them to make contact. Once I tried getting them back in the housing, they'd go out again!

Yep I will have to change the settings on my resizer, lol, whats the normal acceptable size? I had it set for 480X640 but look like it kept aspect ratio. I will just stick with soft white florescent, I was thinking soft white for the reels (easier on eyes) and cool white for the glass to make the colors pop a little more. Just love the old school sound of coins dropping but I do think many would hit the cash out button for coins, is there a way to make it spit coins for certain amounts or jackpots?

Thanks,
Scott

I like the F15T8/D daylight tubes best.   The 6500K color temp makes them look like LED's.

Ok changed all the bulbs, replaced a couple starters, fixed the coin issue and started playing. Had an issue with cash/credit, turn out the bulb was bad, the BV appears to only take $1's and $20's, tried several different $5's and $10's but none would work. Was getting a 3100 error a lot and did some research, pulled the hopper, cleaned it and made sure everything was tight and now it is running great. Still have the issue with the BV, need bulbs for the BV and I noticed the blue part of the candle does not flash at all, is that supposed to flash when you win? the white works fine. It also appears the machine had something else in the top and then pulled out (leftover wiring still there) and the panel below the glass has three slots, two are covered and one has a red transparent plastic piece with nothing behind.

Any suggestion to make the machine as fun as it can be for my guest wold be great (different chip?), also what the best way to track profit/loss, just the count on the analog meters?

Thanks again to everybody!

Throw in a progressive display in the player tracking panel...set the jackpot for one million dollars?  :rotfl:
