Not possible to release the wheels anymore.
« on: July 09, 2019, 11:43:22 AM »
I had a another problem with my Bally Mustang (Swedish), so I had to disconect and open up the drawpackage. I fixed what was wrong, but after I put everything back I had a new fault. I cant draw the arm not long enough for start the game. I noticed if I raises the shelf that the wheel unit sits on a few millimeters the arm goes down and the Wheels been relesed. I tried to put in a screw a Little bit here (See pic called "screw") and it works so so.

What I understand (?) so can you adjust it with this 2 nuts (See pic called adjust) or am I wrong? I tried to move them a Little bit left, but the same fault. :-(
Anyone who know what I shall do?

Photo 1 shows missing bolt & nut. This will distort handle box. You may have to drill a hole through the case & put in a dome head bolt from outside. That should fix it. Photo 2 try pushing back on the pump arm while you pull down handle. The nut on the back of your linkage is generally set at about 7 turns in. Too much one way or the other makes it kick earlier or later. This is adjusted also with the L-stop bracket at rear of mech. It usually is set so end is inline with back edge of reel mech frame. Hope that helpsMake sure you fix that handle bolt first, or you’ll just be spinning your wheels. Bad pun sorry.

Sorry for any confusion. The locking nuts should go towards the end of the shaft to the right.
This will push the trip lever a tad more and should kick the reels.
Try 1 to 2 turns at first to see what happens.

1-2 turns? I tried 10 first time with no result. I tried about 25 more and now it's working good! Thanks a lot for the advice! :-)

Try cleaning the B switch contacts and the Coin relay switch contacts.
And the C switch.

Thought I posted this, but apparently did not.  Make sure your handle box is secure and does not move if it does or if the real shelf moves during handle pull then fix that problem first.  My error, I thought the front of the handle bracket had two bolts in the front, but I have not been in the machine for a long time old age making me forget.Normal position for your locking nuts is anywhere from 3 to 7 threads from the back of the shaft. If you move the nuts to the back of the shaft, make sure you also move the follow up nut on the other side of the pivot or else you have done nothing. After you make the adjustments, make sure that you check your dash pot switch with the real mech back in because that will change the throw of the switch and if I remember correctly, the dashpot breaks the circuit to the handle release coil. Dashpot no close, no handle pull. Sorry for the confusion.
