PAR-4/Bally 5500 MPU
« on: September 09, 2015, 11:44:03 AM »
Hello everyone....
I have been restoring vintage slots (1930-1950) for 20+ years, Mills, Jenkins, etc... I also have restored dozens of the Japanese Pachislo machines over the years as well, guilty pleasure :-).
I recently picked up what I thought was a Bally 5500, which it is mostly but it's actually a PAR-4 unit based on Bally 5500 cabinet and most components except for the MPU, which is their own custom logic board apparently.
I am looking to find what the settings are for the 2 DIP switch banks on the logic board but have not been able to find anything on it yet.

Any help or direction would be appreciated.

It seems that no one has any information on a PAR-5 logic board.
I was hoping not to have to do a full restoration and replace the MPU with a true Bally MPU, reels and glass.

Someone has to have one of these.... PAR-4 apparently made a ton of these for arcade/boardwalks.

After carefully removing the paint they used to cover up the board name... This MPU is a Heber Ltd Pluto 5 gaming board.
