IGT I-Game and Game King / Re: igt gameking where is netplex on mother board« Last post by Tilt on Today at 08:12:54 AM »My backplane board does not have words on it either. 3902 13" GameKing cabinet. There is an 8-pin port labeled J12. Is this Netplex? I could not find my particular machine in the NLG File System (I am a contributing member.) No. J2 on the top of the motherboard is the Netplex connector. 23

Bally Electromechanical / Re: Bally 809-N« Last post by wolftalk on Today at 07:49:48 AM »809-N is a lightning model made for Kelly's Nugget casino.
the paperwork for it is on https://bingo.cdyn.com/slots/809-N/ generic manuals - which are mostly exploded parts diagrams - https://bingo.cdyn.com/slots/bally_manuals/ there's other stuff if you poke around in https://bingo.cdyn.com/slots/ while the bally 400 manual covers the 809's, the 2400 and 2600 manuals have updated information - especially if you have the newer parts on the right side of the reel mech. yell if you want info on any specific issues. btw, if you are in deep enough to access the flourescent tubes, please provide info on what generic part numbers they are (FxTy or whatever it says on the things). 26

IGT I-Game and Game King / Re: Brand new Machine owner... Potential issue« Last post by Chris-socal on Today at 06:49:08 AM »That’s encouraging. If you do have the problem again I would at least rock the eproms in the socket to wipe the pins in the socket, or lift and re-seat them. That often wipes oxidation from the pins.

JCM DBV-45, DBV-145, and DBV-200 Bill Validators / Re: IGT S+ with JCM DBV-200 not working« Last post by Stayouttadabunker on Today at 06:28:46 AM »Sounds more like a problem with the 1st bill entryway optic sensors on the head, doesn't it?
If there's a problem with those, or the heads' circuit board, I'd imagine the motors won't turn on - to pull in the bill. I'm not an expert with bill acceptors...I just kind of know how things work, but I've always used coins on S+ machines. I would wait for some input from NLG members that may have more validator experience than I, before you rush out to get another one. Member Jim has better knowledge about these old bill acceptors...esp. testing them... maybe you could invite him to check out your Topic? 29

If it does, then the firmware flashed to it needs to be upgraded so it "sees" the large headed bills....one dollar bills are the only ones around with the older small heads on them. |
